Permanent Account Number (PAN) is a ten-digit alphanumeric number, issued in the form of a laminated card, by the Income Tax Department, to any “person” who applies for it. PAN enables the department to link all transactions of the “person” with the department. These transactions include tax payments, TDS/TCS credits, returns of income, specified transactions, correspondence, and so on. PAN, thus, acts as an identifier for the “person” with the tax department.

12 digits of unique identification number issued by the Central government to an Indian citizen. It is issued and managed by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). Aadhaar card is essentially an identification document issued by the UIDAI after it records and verifies every resident Indian citizen’s details including biometric and demographic data. #5. Driving License
Driving license is basically an official document issued by the Government of India, permitting individuals to operate or drive a motorized vehicle such as a car, motorbike, truck, bus, etc., on a public road, The Motor Vehicles Act of 1988 states that no individual without the Driving License is authorized to drive a motor vehicle in a public place.Hence, if you wish to drive a motor vehicle like car or scooter on roads, you must first hold a valid driving license in India otherwise you can’t do also doing that without driving license is a punishable offense in India.
